Rooted in Berlin
Niko Rittenau is from Carinthia in Austria. Chubby as a child, skinny as a teenager, until finally discovering a world of healthy and mindful food for himself. Niko moved to Vienna, completed training as a Gourmet Raw Food Chef at the Matthew Kenney Academy in California and arrived in Berlin in 2013. Good for him. And good for Berlin – his veggie supper clubs are legendary. For one, the food is incredibly delicious and secondly, it’s even more than that. Niko shares details on products and manufacturing in context while presenting the exciting and yummy possibilities of a plant-based diet. He considers himself the link between producer and guest and as a cook he would like to promote attentiveness towards high-quality, sustainable and healthy food. Meals are prepared with local ingredients grown in and around Berlin. His new vegan super club “Conscious Cooking” starts tomorrow at the Leogant Loft – and is completely sold out. But we’ve reserved two seats at the table for those with the biggest appetite for knowledge. So get cracking and send an email with the subject “FLEISCH IST KEIN GEMÜSE” to firstname.lastname@example.org.
