Organic Glamour

If you work a lot, you need to eat a lot. And that is why we ordered really special stuff from a really special store during our last photo-shoot for our dear client Teatox (see above for results). The Organic Glamour Food Bar on Veteranenstraße offers culinary delights for any time of day. From now on, their delicious and creative variations of textures and flavours just might please our palate every single day. Would you like a taste? We recommend starting the day with some crunchy muesli, fresh fruit and heavenly cream. Later, you should then try a hearty sandwich with avocado, lettuce and a poached egg. Really, what is the point of life without luscious bread with that perfectly crisp crust and glamorous toppings anyway? Superfood soups, daily specials, and fantastic salads with your individual ingredients top it all off. Everything is organic, homemade and very substantial. More of a meal-in-a-sandwich instead of white bread filled with nothing but air. And don’t miss the outrageously delicious chocolate brownie made of pure happiness! Have we ever been this enthusiastic about a new eatery before? Great place, great food, great people, great catering! Fancy lunch at the office? Order via foodora and have it delivered to your desk. Enjoy autumn and eat yourself happy!

Ice Ice Baby

Hip hip hooray! Summer is back on track and the Ice Cream Market is touring through Germany. Next stop: Altes Mädchen in Hamburg. After the Berlin issue in June had more than 8.000 ice cream enthusiasts practically overrun the Haubentaucher, the creators (Stil in Berlin, This Is Jayne Wayne and mint&berry) have decided to go into production and are hitting the road. On August 9th, Berlin’s ice cream of the crop will come together with local creators in Hamburg and will have you craving summer’s coolest delight. Swing by and satisfy your sweet tooth, shop mint&berry’s latest collection and get a makeup makeover at JACKS beauty department. As for us, we’re going to find out just how much ice cream goodness we can handle – and we’ve been on a strict training schedule… Oh, and the Ice Cream Market will also be stopping by in Cologne on August 15th and Munich on August 30th. More info on Facebook.

Fo‘ schnizzle

Fo‘ schnizzle!

Schnitzel is the new burger. Say whaaat?! Yup. After trying out the Schnitzelbude in Mitte, there is really no other way to put it. That Schnitzel was pretty damn good. David Wiedemann, born and raised in Berlin, has already proven more than once that he has a knack for trendy gastronomy concepts: Reingold, Barroom and the deli Stulle mit Brot are all his creations. His latest coup is the wood panelled joint on Oranienburger Str. serving an outstanding Viennese Schnitzel. The menu also features a turkey schnitzel, a kids and veggie version (oyster mushrooms with mountain cheese – amen!), yummy sides and a good selection of beers and softdrinks – the credo here being quality rather than quantity. The Schnitzelbude is opened Tuesday–Sunday from 6.pm till 3am and, believe it or not, it has come to stay! Nuff said. So, if you’re already licking your lips, send an email titled „BRRREADCRRRUMBS“ to hurra@muxmaeuschenwild.de – we’re giving away a meal for two. Dig in!

Something phishy

Something phishy

This place in Karolinenviertel is posh, very posh. Food is served on Thursdays only and one dish only. But this is then prepared by none other than the people behind „Salt & Silver“, a cookbook combining breath-taking travel reports and mouth-watering recipes collected during a trip through South and Latin America. And at Kleines Phi is where the story continues, where real people are doing real things and putting their heart and soul into it. You can feel it and you can taste it. Be it at the Thursday nosh-ups or in form of delicious South American cocktail classics. We really had a great time and enjoyed our exchange of expertise with the lovely barman. Our new mantra: Thank God it’s Thursday!
