Full blastRemember the days in the parking lot, when all we needed were a couple of cold drinks from the gas station, music blaring from the car speakers and plenty of time to waste. Yup, we sure knew how to party back then. On September 10th, smart and JBL will take us down memory lane with the City of Sound event at Haubentaucher. The automobile and the audio brand have teamed up to present the new smart fortwo and forfour models with an awesome sound system by JBL. They wanted to find out just how much sound they could squeeze into the little cars and came up with the one-off project „forgigs“: a smart fortwo equipped with an ear-splitting 5,700 W audio system – we’re talking Parking Lot Party Deluxe. Come on over, listen to juicy beats and slurp on frozen yoghurt by the pool – for free! There’ll also be various live acts, a DJ workshop and a band contest in cooperation with FluxFM. Starting at 6pm, Le Very, Noah Slee and The King Stones will compete against each other to win a gig at the upcoming Lollapalooza. Later on, DJ Claptone will take over to keep the party going. In case of bad weather, the whole event will take place indoors – the tiny cars won’t be a problem here! ;-) Sounds like a pretty good deal.
