What may sound like a social anthropological experiment is in fact an incredible opportunity to be part of an otherwise very personal and intimate process: Irish singer Wallis Bird, who we already presented in our 2 Minute Interview, is going to play a 12-hour-concert before a live audience. Although »concert« is not quite the right word. There will be no set list; there will be no beginning and no end, no concert-choreography. But it will all be live, direct and bold. The 33-year-old with a warm voice and unique stage presence sees this experiment as part of her album process. What can happen in one day? What will emerge with an ever-changing audience? The experiences Wallis Bird makes herself at the Auster Club in Kreuzberg will flow into her work on her new album. She will explore, improvise, experiment – partly alone and partly with the help of special guests, or let’s say friends. And you can be a part of it all. The extreme musical experience begins at 2 p.m and ends at 2 a.m. It’s up to you to decide when to show up and how much you pay. Every Euro will be donated to refugee projects.
