A Family AffairWe’re going out. Out-out. To a concert. Because on Sunday, the marvellous Dominique Dillon de Byington, or just Dillon, is giving her only concert in Berlin this year on the occasion of “Foreign Affairs 2015” in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. „A family affair“ is the name of the program being shown. Which pretty much covers the motto for the evening, regarding content as well as set-up. Because contrary to her usual performances, during which Dillon’s voice and Tamer Fahri Özgönenc’s drums alone suffice to create acoustic intoxication, they are now being joined by four further voices. Family Business, so to speak. The production as such is also promising to be special: „Until now, I made a point to stay out of the lime light – for Foreign Affairs I’ll be stepping out of the shadows a bit.” We are looking forward to this eye and ear candy and have a free space +1 on the guest list for one lucky winner.
